JourPlan does not require you to create an account and we do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address or phone number.

The App may process the following types of data:

• User-generated content: notes, documents, photos and trip details you create and store in the App.
• Photos: images attached to trips are stored securely in the device's File Manager. They remain under your control and are not uploaded to our servers.
• Device information: limited technical data (e.g., crash logs, device model, OS version) collected via Firebase Crashlytics.
• Usage data: anonymized analytics data collected through Firebase Analytics to help us improve the App.
• Location data: if you grant permission, the App may use your location to tag trips, places or photos.
• Calendar access: if enabled, the App can integrate with your device's calendar to add or read travel events.
• Camera and Photos: if enabled, the App can access your camera and photo library to attach images to your trips.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and improve the core functionality of the App.
• Enable trip planning features (e.g., storing documents, notes and photos).
• Provide optional features such as notifications and calendar synchronization.
• Diagnose technical issues and ensure stability of the App.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Data you create in JourPlan (including notes, documents and photos) is stored locally on your device in the File Manager.
• Optionally, this data may also be stored in iCloud, if enabled in your iOS settings.
• We do not have access to, nor do we store, your personal content on our servers.
• While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

JourPlan uses the following third-party services:

• iCloud (Apple Inc.) – for syncing and backup.
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google LLC) – for anonymized usage statistics and crash reporting.
• MapKit (Apple Inc.) – for maps and location-based features.
• Currency Conversion API – for converting currencies during trip planning.

In the future, additional third-party APIs (such as flight data providers) may be integrated. This policy will be updated accordingly.

5. Permissions Requested

The App may request the following permissions on your device:

• Location – to tag trips or provide location-based features.
• Calendar – to add or read travel-related events.
• Camera and Photos – to attach images to your trips.
• Notifications – to send reminders and alerts related to your trips.

Granting these permissions is optional. However, some features may not function properly without them.

6. Children's Privacy

JourPlan is intended for general audiences and may be used by individuals of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

7. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, update or delete your data stored locally or in iCloud.
• Restrict or object to certain processing activities.

For users in the EU/EEA, our practices comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For users in California, we comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
